Electric Fish (Call and Response)

Interactive animation, processing, microphone, speaker, 2017

By using this program, people can communicate with each other. It is not a straight-forward communication, but a very odd one, indeed: You have to respond to someone before you can listen what the person said. This distorted way of talking reflects the high-speed communication of social media platforms, on which many users feel the urgency to make themselves heard without listening to the others.
The video shows a screen capture documentation of the program.
